Emperor is a compilation of archival and stock footage, edited to an orchestral composition by Anya Keggenhoff. It tells the story of the lives of emperor penguins over a year in Antarctica.
Emperor screened at the Roxy Cinema as part of Film Scores Live. This was an event showcasing original compositions by students, in sync with film scenes, creating a live cinema experience. Emperor was accompanied by a live performance from the NZSM Orchestra.
